Craftsmanship and innovation 100% Made in France
AA[nd] represents the perfect blend of the charm of timeless design and the lightness of contemporary creativity. The brand creates exclusive furniture in its workshops in France, where manufacturing excellence merges with innovation and respect for the environment.
Through the use of sustainable materials and cutting-edge production processes, AA[nd] manages to combine what seems opposite: industrial rigor and creative freedom, classic elegance and modern spirit, craftsmanship and sustainability
Each creation by AA[nd] is much more than a piece of furniture: it is an artistic gesture, a statement of conscious style, and a tangible commitment to ethical and lasting design.

Durable and sustainable design seating
For over 30 years, AA[nd] has stood out for its mastery in bending and welding wires, tubes, and sheets. Each piece is made from recycled steel and is fully recyclable. In the south of France, in Drôme, Pascale carries on the artisanal tradition of haute couture within the workshop dedicated to leather and fabrics. A savoir-faire that combines industrial precision and artisanal care, ensuring high-quality, durable furniture, and, upon request, custom-made pieces.

AA[nd]: a new brand experience
In December 2024, AA[nd] welcomed friends, partners, media and design professionals to celebrate not only the launch of its new visual identity but also the excellence of its savoir-faire.
In a refined and atmospheric setting at Cor Studio in Paris, the brand offered an immersive experience, brought to life through an industrial scenography designed by Units Studio – a powerful and coherent expression of AA[nd]’s renewed image.

AA Butterfly© armchair: the icon of modern design
Designed in 1938 by architects Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy, Juan Kurchan, and Antonio Bonet, the AA Butterfly© armchair, an icon of modern and sustainable design, has its roots in the 1855 folding chair by Joseph Beverly Fenby, continuing to inspire designers around the world.
With its recycled steel frame and leather seat, this armchair revolutionized the concept of furniture with its minimalist design. Added to the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York, it was later mass-produced by Knoll, becoming an emblem of style, craftsmanship, and innovation in contemporary design.
AA[nd]: the contemporary reissue of an eternal classic
Since 2010, AA[nd] has been celebrating the timeless elegance of this masterpiece of French design, producing it with artisanal care in its own workshops.
Each armchair is a contemporary reinterpretation of the original, enhanced with exclusive finishes, bold colours, and striking textures, breathing new life into an icon that continues to inspire generations of design lovers.
